Dreaming of Summering (... Is that a word?) at the NY Boat Show

The New York Boat Show was one of the most exciting events I’ve been to this year! It is such a fun family friendly event held at the iconic Javits Center in NYC. The kids toured their favorite boats and even played captain! It was a great way to see the boats in person plus it’s the ultimate family-friendly activity with hours of indoor fun. What more could you ask for on a cold wintery NYC weekend in January, right?!

We were so excited to attend this year not only for all the excitement but because we are actually looking for a boat! We are all settled in to our house out east and all my husband my older son has been talking about is getting a boat. They want something for fishing and I am more interested in something I can relax on this summer.

The perfect chance to tour tons of boats all under one roof was the best part of the NY Boat Show. We met with trained sales associates to get all the details on the different types of boats. Plus we really got a first hand look at all of them to really narrow down what we are looking for. Here is a link to all the exhibitors.
